Card skimming and other forms of fraud can lead to your benefits being stolen. If you notice any transactions you did not make, you must report it immediately to have the stolen benefits replaced.
As soon as you spot an unauthorized charge, call the Montana EBT customer service line at 1-866-850-1556 to report the fraud and cancel the card.
Request a new card and a new PIN. Do not reuse the PIN that was compromised.
You must complete the “Request for Replacement of Stolen SNAP Benefits” affidavit with DPHHS within 30 days to have eligible benefits reissued.
To reduce future risk, always cover the keypad when entering your PIN and check card readers for any signs of tampering.
