These SMS/Text Message Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern your subscription to and receipt of SMS/text messages from Benny App ("Benny," "we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our SMS program, you agree to these SMS Terms and our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
Benny App provides two main types of SMS messages:
Transactional Messages: These are automated messages related to your account and use of the Benny App service. They may include, but are not limited to:
One-time passcodes (OTP) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Account security alerts (e.g., new login, password change).
Transactional notifications (e.g., savings transfer confirmations, credit-building updates, payment reminders).
Customer support-related communications.
Promotional Messages: These are marketing messages about Benny App's features, new products, special offers, and financial wellness tips.
2. How to Opt-In
You may opt-in to receive SMS messages by providing your mobile number during account sign-up, within your account settings, or by other methods we may make available.
Transactional Messages: By providing your mobile number to create or secure your account, you provide your express consent to receive essential transactional messages as a condition of using the service.
Promotional Messages: You will only receive promotional messages if you provide your separate, express written consent to receive them (e.g., by checking a specific, non-pre-checked box).
3. How to Opt-Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time.
To stop receiving all SMS messages (transactional and promotional), text "STOP".
After you send the "STOP" message, we will send you one final confirmation text to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to rejoin, you must opt back in through your account settings or by signing up as you did initially.

5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are sent on an as-needed basis triggered by your account activity. Promotional messages may be sent periodically.
6. Cost and Carrier Disclaimer
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply to all SMS messages sent and received. Benny App is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.
Supported carriers may change from time to time. The SMS program may not be available on all carriers or compatible with all mobile devices. We and the mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal information, including your mobile phone number, is governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to These SMS Terms
We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised terms to this page. We will notify you of material changes, but we encourage you to review these SMS Terms periodically.
